Editing an existing blog post
If someone tells you that a blog post needs to be updated, here's what you need to do. As of time of writing, you essentially refers to Alex. If Hui Jing's backup is no longer Alex, this page will be updated.
-
Login to the Drupal backend. We are not disclosing the URL here because we have been hit by bot spam on the login.
-
Click on "Content" in the toolbar.
-
Make sure the person asking you to update the blog post tells you which blog post it is so you can search for it. Filter for the "Article" content type to make the search results slightly better.
-
Click on "Edit" in the far right.
-
Usually for such requests, you will be looking at content in the "Body" field. Make the requested changes, then click Save.
-
Double check the article to see that all the changes are made to your satisfaction.
-
If all looks good, invalidate the Cloudfront cache on AWS. This page assumes you know how to do this.
