Chrome extensions
- Vimium - browse with the keyboard.
- Delight chrome extension for regular joy injections.

Apps
- Homebrew - install apps from terminal without having to faff with downloading, dragging to apps folder, ejecting .dmgs and then deleting install packages. E.g.:
brew cask install spectacle iterm skitch alfred firefox the-unarchiver vlc visual-studio-code spotmenu spotify chrome franz nordvpn docker cheatsheet todoist- Spectacle - resize and relocate app windows with the keyboard, even with multiple displays.
- Clipy App - paste more than just the most recent item copied OR paste from a predefined snippets such as email.
- iTerm - terminal with slightly more options
- Alfred - search the internet from any context, directly, without it trying to find a local file by that name first.
- Skitch - easily annotated screenshots
- VSCode - coding IDE of choice; settings synced with Settings Sync extension
- Red Hot Timer - pomodoro timers on demand from the menu bar or via keyboard shortcuts
- Spotmenu - show the current playing song from spotify in the MacOS menu bar
- ImageOptim - resize/compress/reformat images
- Gyazo Gif - create & share short UI screencapture gifs easily.
