Reexamine our default temperament list

(This issue is to help facilitate a dialogue between us and some musicians who are more knowledgeable in temperament.)

Current Behavior

Currently we have the following list:

• Equal
• Just Intonation
• Pythagorean
• Meantone 1/3
• Meantone 1/4

In Music Blocks, it looks like this:

First, we could make the names more accurate:

• Equal (12EDO)
• 5-limit Just Intonation**
• Pythagorean**
• Meantone 1/3
• Meantone 1/4

**These aren't really a "temperament", so I'm interested in hearing from other musicians about whether or not we should keep including them or not. Certainly, they are a nice "taste test" as long as everything is in relationship to the root.

Then, we might decide to include one or two others, based on feedback.

Off the top of my head "Equal (31EDO)" would be a good one.

I think we could start with a change of name, although I'm interested to get feedback from some musicians in the microtonal community re: just intonation naming.

If you want to do a patch with just changes to the names, I think that would be an improvement.

The changes would be the following:

• Equal --> Equal (12EDO)
• Just Intonation --> 5-limit Just Intonation
• Pythagorean --> Pythagorean (3-limit JI)
