as a developer I want to create a very simple VUU UI application, with a simple Shell. I do not need drag and drop layout management. I want to provide a custom application header. I want the usual Vuu layout persistence for component properties.

Currently, the Vuu Shell offers a choice between two shell templates. Both are full featured.

  1. Increase flexibility of Shell configuration
  2. Offer an additional, bare-bones layout template
  3. allow additional layout templates to be configured
  4. refactor Shell API to be more intuitive
  5. document Types
  6. document Shell layout behaviour
