I see in the design guidelines that the fluent design pattern is discouraged. I also see the same here: #12144 but it isn't explained why this is discouraged. Is there a one-pager or something that the CDK team can share around why the fluent pattern is not supported and/or why it may be a bad idea for creating CDK resources? I am asking this as someone who maintains a CDK library (i.e. abstractions over existing CDK constructs) and am thinking about exposing fluent interfaces.
